2021 Themes:
"The Advancement of Arts and Technology for Humanity"

The era of disruption and the new order caused by the pandemic of covid-19 urges an adaptation in all life sectors, including in the arts, technology and humanities.

Meanwhile, the intermedia arts, whereas art emerged as an expression of millennial-era artists by utilizing the existence of technology and the presence of a digital world that could present the actualization of works, raises the process of art creation in the digital domain. The development of the art creation and the realization of intermedia arts enriched the definition of art that manifests itself in the digital world and gradually increases the impact on humanities, nevertheless the tenure of technology.

In 2021, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta (ISI Yogyakarta) will be honoured as the host of the 2nd International Conference on Intermedia Arts and Creative Technology (CREATIVEARTS) which will invite practitioners of artists, lecturers, researchers, observers and students in the field of intermedia arts, visual culture and creative technology to jointly present the results of their thoughts at a conference entitled: "The Advancement of Arts and Technology for Humanity".
